Submissions Open!

The SkeenaWild Film & Photo Festival is back for its 14th year!

Each year, SWFF brings our community together to celebrate the incredible people, places, and stories of the Skeena Watershed. It’s one of our favourite initiatives—an inspiring reminder of how deeply people care about this region.

In 2024, the festival saw record-breaking participation, with sold-out screenings in Terrace, Smithers, Kitimat, Prince Rupert, and Haida Gwaii, and over 500 online views. We received our highest-ever number of submissions across all categories, highlighting the creativity and passion of artists from across the watershed.

Join us again this year for a fun and meaningful celebration of wild places and creative voices in the Skeena.

WHY PARTICIPATE?

Be part of the amazing community of artists helping to showcase their work, inspire, and create an important focal point for people to come together and appreciate the varied, breathtaking, and increasingly everchanging world that is our Skeena Watershed.

This festival is By the Skeena, for the Skeena!
